  so yesterday when i went to the library there were three older gentlemen in suits standing around the front door.

  i spotted the stand with the magazines a second or two later.

  they were talking among themselves, totally ignoring everybody walking past them.

  my name is matthew j and i have just ended my study with the jehovah's witnesses.

  no, i did not stop studying because i believe the jehovah's witnesses are a 'cult', i left due to the minor beliefs that i hold that remain separate from the organization.

  i called my elder who is still an amazing man and great counselor, affirming that i do not wish to continue my studying.

  i live on an offshore island in the UK..population about 140,000

  at one stage , the ratio of dubs to public was double the UK average, but not through growth--just lots of retired dubs moving over here. at one stage there were 5 KHs here--now down to 3.

  new to this forum.

  i ran across it when watching lloyd evans videos and searching out jw links.

  i left the cult many years ago after a long stint in it.the cult caused me much pain and problems even though i left.
